Go Skate Day occurred on June 21st with SUPRA hosting events in both Los Angeles and New York City. While our skate team was out with the locals in LA, our NY crew partnered up with SHUT and LifeValet for two very special events.
"Adults Learn to Skateboard Day" was an initiative to bridge the gap on the often overlooked age demographic when it comes to skating. Organized by LifeValet coach, Mike A. Cohen of SHUT Skateboard and SURE Skateboard School, free lessons were given to adults in New York, with the idea to expand the program to cities around the the world. Those who attended had a great time and we were happy to have been a part of this!
The second event for the day was Skateboarding Works, which featured artwork and photography at Point Green Studio. Artists who showcased their work Blair Alley and Scott Furkay. 20% of the show proceeds were went to Harold Hunter Foundation.
The SUPRA x SHUT x LifeValet teams are incredibly thankful for all those who came out to show love and support. It was an amazing time with a great roundup of people.
