SUPRA Pulled All The Stops In Berlin
SUPRA hosted a three-day party in Berlin in honor of the tenth anniversary of skate veteran Chad Muska’s Skytop shoe – alongside the unveiling of the Skytop V and its accompanying retrospective zine.
Beginning on Friday night, guests from all around the world – including London, Paris, Los Angeles, New York, as well as Berlin itself – were welcomed with the exclusive #skytop4ever party at the city’s impressive rooftop space, Atelier.
Notable names and influencers including it-girl and blogger Kesaly, stylist and model Emily O’donnell, Indie magazine’s Marieke Fisher, DJ and model Luke Storey, it-girls Merys Berrada & Camille Farrugia, and SUPRA team rider Oscar Candon, got their first glance at the retrospective zine while enjoying cocktails and Prosecco to a soundtrack by New York DJ and artist, The Illustrious One. The afterparty saw guests descend on the nefarious St. George’s nightclub until the early hours of the morning – with all their antics documented on Supra’s official Instagram by social media star Luke Storey.
A night of appearances from a worldwide roster of DJs and artists including Jetsss, Brat Star, Lee Stuart and BØA, was topped when London came calling with an explosive performance and DJ set by Neverland Clan. Once the hangovers subsided on day two, with the help of a Champagne brunch, Supra encouraged guests to explore the city and create their own Skytop journey with the hashtag #SkytopV.
The challenge culminated in two winners as creative director and photographer Raphaele Sissoko and WAD magazine’s Lisa Bouteldja were jointly after capturing the most inspiring photos of the day. The third and final day of celebrations was, understandably, a write-off for most, with Supra leaving guests to get some much-needed rest before flying home.
The event rounds out two weeks of celebrations. The first, held at Paris’s Supra store the week previous, offered fans, friends, and family the chance to explore the Skytop dynasty and the many designs it has produced over the years, all the while enjoying Kraken rum cocktails and a DJ set by Hotel Radio Paris.
